TryVit

A food-health app that explains its scores instead of hiding them, built for Poland and Germany.

TryVit's homepage, with the headline "A closer look. A clearer choice." and an illustrated oat-drink label breakdown.
Live homepage, October 2026. The product card is an illustrative preview.

The idea

TryVit explains its food scores instead of hiding them: read the package, see the reasoning, and make your own call. It is built for shoppers in Poland and Germany.

How it works

  • Scan or browse: look up a product by barcode, then compare it with similar products.
  • Transparent scoring: every score shows the facts behind it, where they came from and what is still missing, instead of a single unexplained number.
  • Country by country: product data is kept separate per market, with access rules enforced in the database.

How it is built

TryVit is a product-led experiment in AI-assisted development. Socrat Works sets the goals, requirements, product rules and acceptance checks, and decides what ships. AI coding agents handle most of the implementation, held to typed contracts and automated tests.

Where it stands

Live and in active development, with a private beta by invitation. The product catalogue and the scoring model are still being validated, so TryVit makes no claims about usage or health outcomes.
